PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for coating a steel cord capable of improving wet heat adhesiveness without deteriorating flexural fatigue resistance.SOLUTION: There is provided a rubber composition for coating a steel cord containing 100 pts.mass of a diene rubber, 0.1 to 5 pts.mass of zinc monomethacrylate and/or zinc dimethacrylate and 0.1 to 5 pts.mass of at least one kind of hydrazine compound selected from a benzothiazole-based hydrazine compound represented by the following formula. There is provided a rubber composition for coating the steel cord wherein the hydrazine compound is preferably 2-hydrazino benzoate and/or acetone benzothiazolyl-2-hydrazone.SELECTED DRAWING: None

    【課題】耐屈曲疲労性を悪化させることなく、湿熱接着性を改善することができるスチールコード被覆用ゴム組成物の提供。【解決手段】ジエン系ゴム100質量部に対して、モノメタクリル酸亜鉛及び/又はジメタクリル酸亜鉛を0.1〜5質量部、並びに、下記式で代表されるベンゾチアゾール系ヒドラジン化合物より選択された少なくとも1種のヒドラジン化合物を0.1〜5質量部含有するスチールコード被覆用ゴム組成物。前記ヒドラジン化合物が2−ヒドラジノベンゾール及び/又はアセトンベンゾチアゾリル−2−ヒドラゾンであることが好ましいスチールコード被覆用ゴム組成物。【選択図】なし
