PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for surely detecting a sleepy state of a driver of an automobile.SOLUTION: Movements of at least one eyelid of one eye of the driver are detected, and a sleepy state of a driver is recognized according to the detected movements.
