PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle battery mounting structure which sufficiently protects a battery during a side surface collision while using an existing vehicle body skeleton member.SOLUTION: A vehicle battery mounting structure includes a floor panel 1 and a pair of left and right floor frames 2 forming a pair of left and right first closed cross section surfaces C1, and a battery 3 is disposed below the floor panel 1 and at a left side of the floor frame 2. The vehicle battery mounting structure includes: an attachment bracket 21 for attaching the battery 3 to the vehicle body side; and a pedestal bracket 23 having a pedestal part 23b which is connected with a left side wall part 2a of the floor frame 2 and the floor panel 1 and may be connected overlapping on an attachment part 21f of the attachment bracket 21, and an upper flange part 23d. The pedestal part 23b is disposed at a neighbor position of the left side wall part 2a of the floor frame 2, and the upper flange part 23d is joined to a front side flange 7d and a rear side flange part 7e of a floor cross member 7 through the floor panel 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
