PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for limiting change in an operation mode set by an administrator in an electric propulsion machine.SOLUTION: An electric propulsion machine (electrically-driven two-wheeled vehicle) 1 comprises: an electric motor 6; an electric motor control circuit; a propulsion mechanism (rear wheel) 4 which generates propulsion power from an output of the electric motor 6; and a battery unit 20 which supplies electric power to the electric motor 6. The battery unit 20 has a mode setting operator which accepts designation of an operation mode. The electric motor control circuit outputs a control signal for controlling the electric motor 6 on the basis of an operation mode designated from among plural operation modes.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
