PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sandwich synthetic material containing a fiber filler-containing polymer layer and a metal layer.SOLUTION: A synthetic elastomer contains a lightweight composite material having a first metal foil, a second metal foil and a core layer of an extruded polymer included between the first and second metal foil, wherein the core layer of the polymer has one or both of tensile modulus at 100% elongation of less than about 3 MPa and breaking elongation of more than about 110% and contains a metallic fiber of about 3 vol.% to about 30 vol.% based on total volume of the synthetic elastomer and the polymer core layer, the core later of the polymer has modulus of transverse elasticity (ASTM D1043-02) of at least about 200 MPa over temperature range of about -40°C to about 50°C, the metallic fiber has weight average length of about 5 mm to about 25 mm and has a stamping structure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A
