PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve power saving in a pedestrian terminal device and to reduce congestion of communication by reducing traffic of communication between a pedestrian terminal device and an on-vehicle terminal device.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle terminal device includes: a pedestrian-vehicle communication section 32 for performing pedestrian-vehicle communication; a low-power communication section 33 performing low-power communication; and a communication control section 41 performing switching between two operation modes of a normal mode and a representative terminal mode. In a normal mode, the on-vehicle terminal device mutually exchanges pedestrian information and vehicle information between itself and a pedestrian terminal device 1 by pedestrian-vehicle communication. In a representative terminal mode, the on-vehicle terminal device obtains the pedestrian information from the pedestrian terminal device by low-power communication as the representative terminal of the pedestrian terminal devices existing in the circumference of a self device, provides the pedestrian information to another on-vehicle terminal device, and also provides vehicle information obtained from the other on-vehicle terminal device to the pedestrian terminal device by small-power communication.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】歩行者端末装置の省電力化を図るとともに、歩行者端末装置と車載端末装置との間の通信のトラフィックを低減して通信の輻輳を低減することができるようにする。【解決手段】歩車間通信を行う歩車間通信部32と、小電力通信を行う小電力通信部33と、通常モードおよび代表端末モードの2つの動作モードを切り替える通信制御部41と、を備え、通常モードでは、歩行者端末装置1との間で歩車間通信により歩行者情報および車両情報を相互に交換し、代表端末モードでは、自装置の周辺に存在する歩行者端末装置の代表端末として、小電力通信により歩行者端末装置から歩行者情報を取得して、その歩行者情報を他の車載端末装置に提供し、また、他の車載端末装置から取得した車両情報を小電力通信により歩行者端末装置に提供するようにする。【選択図】図3
