PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the risk of generating a tooth-clattering noise and or a shock caused by plural gears in a transmission relatively rotating after a vehicular stop control apparatus switching a geared transmission to a parking lock state.SOLUTION: As a vehicle shifts from a travel state to a stop state (S10), a range of an automatic transmission is switched to P-range under the condition of brake force of a wheel is brake force to maintain the vehicle in a stop state (S20, S50), and then the brake force of the wheel is reduced (S150). A reduction rate of brake force is changed so that a reduction rate of brake force at a temporal point and after a given period of time elapses since starting of reduction in brake force is smaller than a reduction rate of brake force prior to the aforementioned temporal point (S60-S150).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】停車制御装置により歯車式変速機がパーキングロック状態に切り替えられた後に、変速機内の複数の歯車が相対的に回転することに起因して歯打ち音及びショックが生じる虞を低減する。【解決手段】車両が走行状態から停止状態へ移行すると(S10)、車輪の制動力が車両を停止状態に維持する制動力である状況において自動変速機のレンジをPレンジへ切り替えた後(S20、50)、車輪の制動力を低下させる(S150)。制動力の低下を開始してから所定の時間が経過する時点以降の制動力の低下率が、当該時点以前の制動力の低下率よりも小さくなるように制動力の低下率を変化させる(S60〜150)。【選択図】図2
