PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electrodialysis treatment with a form advantageously used in water treatment such as ballast water treatment.SOLUTION: A membrane 71 is arranged between electrodes for forming a membrane cell. Influent water of a cathode flow channel 72 is flowing from a flow adjustment element 64 as represented by an arrow C. Water in an anode flow channel 74 is flowing from a flow adjustment element 65 as represented by an arrow A. Water flowing in the flow adjustment elements 64 and 65 flows two flow channels 72 and 74 extending along with two side surface of cathode 68 or anode 70 respectively. Flow adjusted by the flow adjustment element 64 passes a 10 mm area without obstruction, becomes a lamellar flow with splitting flow by a V shaped tip 76 of the cathode 68 and further flows 30 mm distance along with two cathode flow channels 72.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9

    【課題】バラスト水処理の如き水処理に有利に用いられる形態の電気透析処理を提供する。【解決手段】膜71は、膜セルを形成するように電極と電極の間に配置されている。カソード流路72の流入水は、矢印Cにより表されるように、流れ調整エレメント64から流れてきている。アノード流路74の水は、矢印Aにより表されるように、流れ調整エレメント65から流れてきている。流れ調整エレメント64、65を流れる水は、カソード68またはアノード70の2つの側面の各々に沿って延びている2つの流路72、74を流れる。流れ調整エレメント64により調整された流れは、障害物のない10mmの領域を通り抜け、カソード68のV字形の先端76により分流につれて層流になり、2つカソード流路72に沿って30mmの距離さらに流れる。【選択図】図9
