PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication following target vehicle identification device capable of accurately identifying a following target vehicle even when getting involved in a traffic congestion.SOLUTION: A communication following target vehicle identification device identifies another vehicle 11 which travels immediately before an own vehicle 10 and is to be a target of the own vehicle to follow while using other vehicle communication information transmitted through inter-vehicle communication, on the basis of a communication following target vehicle probability. The communication following target vehicle probability is obtained on the basis of a similarity degree index value showing a similarity between data obtained by accumulating time-series speeds Vc of the other vehicle transmitted therefrom through the wireless communication and the data obtained by accumulating the time-series speeds of the preceding vehicle measured by a vehicle radar sensor 61 and a vehicle speed sensor 42 of the own vehicle 10. When at least either the speed of the other vehicle or the speed of the preceding vehicle is not less than a threshold, the time-series speeds of the other vehicle are accumulated. Accumulation of the time-series speeds of the other vehicle is suspended when both the speed of the other vehicle and the speed of the preceding vehicle are less than the threshold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】渋滞に巻き込まれても、追従対象車を精度良く特定できる通信追従対象車特定装置を提供する。【解決手段】通信追従対象車特定装置は、自車10の直前を走行し且つ自車が車車間通信により送信されてくる他車通信情報を利用しながら、追従走行すべき他車11を通信追従対象車確率に基づいて特定する。その確率は、他車が無線通信により送信してきた他車の速度Vcを時系列的に蓄積したデータと、自車レーダセンサ61及び自車10の車速センサ42を用いて求めた先行車速度を時系列的に蓄積したデータと、の類似度を示す類似度指標値に基づいて求める。他車の速度及び先行車速度のうちの少なくとも一方が閾値以上であるとき、他車の速度を時系列的に蓄積する。他車の速度及び先行車速度の双方が閾値未満であるときは、他車の速度の時系列的蓄積を停止する。【選択図】図1
