PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce weight while securing rigidity of a suspension mounting section and suppress a rib height to a vehicle upper side.SOLUTION: A tower cover 5 includes a first rib 62 and a second rib 63 which are double annular ribs surrounding a fastening section 23 of a suspension device. The double annular ribs are connected by a plurality of radial third ribs 67. Accordingly, the tower cover 5 can be made a strong rigid body structure against vertical direction and horizontal direction inputs and can be reduced in weight while securing rigidity of the suspension mounting section, and a rib height to a vehicle upper side is suppressed, thereby enabling contribution to improvement of steering stability of the vehicle and improvement of pedestrian protection performance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】サスペンション取付部の剛性を確保しながら軽量化を図り、且つ車両上方へのリブ高さを抑える。【解決手段】タワーカバー5に、サスペンション装置の締結部23を囲む2重の環状リブである第1のリブ62と第2のリブ63とを備え、この2重の環状リブを放射状の複数の第3のリブ67によって連結している。これにより、タワーカバー5を、上下方向及び水平方向の入力に対する強固な剛体構造とすることが可能となり、サスペンション取付部の剛性を確保しながら軽量化を図り、且つ車両上方へのリブ高さを抑え、車両の操縦安定性の向上、歩行者保護性能の向上に寄与することができる。【選択図】図1
