PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body skeleton structure which is suppressed in the fracture and yield of a skeleton member, in the vehicle body skeleton structure in which a reinforcing member is internally fit into the hollow skeleton member.SOLUTION: Vehicle body structures S1, S2 and S3 comprise a long-length hollow skeleton member 12, and a reinforcing member 14 including a first contact part 14F contacting with one inner face 20 out of a pair of inner faces which oppose the skeleton member 12, a second contact part 14R contacting with the other inner face 22, and a connecting part 14M for connecting the first contact part 14F and the second contact part 14R. Slits which extend to one inner face 20 side from an end part of the other inner face 22 side, and whose depths are set at one quarter or more of an interval at which a pair of the inner faces oppose each other are formed at least at the second contact part 14R and the connecting part 14M in the reinforcing member 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
