PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an incorrect detection of a foreign object by the change of transmission power, while maintaining the detection accuracy of a foreign object, which exists between a power transmission coil and a power reception coil, as high as possible.SOLUTION: A control device executes first determination processing and second determination processing. The first determination processing determines that a foreign object exists if a difference between first and second induction voltages, which are respectively generated at two coils for foreign object detection among a plurality of coils for foreign object detection, is a predetermined first value or greater. The second determination processing determines that a foreign object exists if the variation of a value, which indicates an induction voltage generated at one of the plurality of coils for foreign object detection, is a predetermined second value or greater. The control device executes the first determination processing when a condition to determine a stable state of power which is transmitted from the power transmission coil to the power reception coil indicates instability, whereas executes the second determination processing if the above condition indicates stability.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】送電コイルと受電コイルとの間に存在する異物の検知精度をなるべく高く維持しつつ、送電電力の変化による異物の誤検知を抑制する。【解決手段】制御装置は、第1の判定処理と第2の判定処理とを実行する。第1の判定処理は、複数の異物検知用コイルのうち2つの異物検知用コイルにそれぞれ生じる第1及び第2の誘導電圧の差が第1の所定値以上である場合に、異物が存在すると判定する処理である。第2の判定処理は、複数の異物検知用コイルの何れかに生じる誘導電圧を示す値の変化量が第2の所定値以上である場合に、異物が存在すると判定する処理である。制御装置は、送電コイルから受電コイルに伝送される電力の安定状態を判定するための条件が不安定を示す場合に第1の判定処理を実行し、上記条件が安定を示す場合に第2の判定処理を実行する。【選択図】図1
