PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a railroad crossing blockage machine which allows a person (including person with his/her wheel) who is shut in a railroad crossing, when a blockage rod is dropped since a train is approaching, or a user of an electric wheelchair, to lift up the blockage rod without applying special large force and exit outside, and which cannot be easily lifted from outside.SOLUTION: A railroad crossing blockage machine comprises: a lifting machine E including a blockage rod 2 disposed on a railroad crossing 1 and is operated to be open and close, and a drive device 3 for supplying motive force for performing opening/closing operations of the blockage rod 2; a person sensing sensor S for detecting whether or not there is a person in the railroad crossing 1; a clutch mechanism for blocking motive force transmission from the drive device 3; and control means for controlling the clutch mechanism on the basis of a detection signal of the person sensing sensor S. The control means blocks motive power transmission when the blockage rod 2 is in the closed state, and the person sensing sensor S detects existence of a person in a detection area 4 in the railroad crossing 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】列車の接近に伴い遮断棹が降下した際に、踏切内に閉じ込められた人(自転車を引いた人を含む)や電動車椅子の利用者等が、格別に大きな力を加えることなく遮断棹を持ち上げて脱出するこができる一方で、外部から遮断棹を簡単に持ち上げることを困難にする。【解決手段】踏切1に設けられて開閉動作される遮断棹2及び遮断棹2を開閉動作するための動力を供給する駆動装置3を有する昇降機Eと、踏切1内に人が居るか否かを検出する人感知センサSと、駆動装置3からの動力伝達を遮断するクラッチ機構と、人感知センサSの検出信号に基づいてクラッチ機構を制御する制御手段とを具備し、制御手段は、遮断棹2が閉状態にあり、かつ人感知センサSにより踏切1内の検出領域4に人の存在を検出した場合に動力伝達を遮断する。【選択図】図1
