PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaft connecting structure which can reduce the number of part items while maintaining a function for suppressing the settling of an elastic member.SOLUTION: A shaft connecting structure 40 includes: a rotating shaft 14a; a worm shaft 18; a first member 50; a second member 60; and an intermediate member 70 which is composed of an elastic member. The intermediate member 70 is interposed between the first member 50 and the second member 60. A connecting protrusion 52 extending to an axial direction X of the first member 50 is inserted between second radial protrusions 72 of the intermediate member 70, and between a plurality of first radial protrusions 62 of the second member 60. Salient parts 64 of the first radial protrusions 62 are irregularly engaged with recesses 75 of the second radial protrusions 72 in an axial direction X. When a relative rotation angle between the first member 50 and the second member 60 is smaller than a prescribed angle, end parts of the second radial protrusions 72 in a circumferential direction Z are protruded to the circumferential direction Z from a corresponding end part of the corresponding first radial protrusion 62 in the circumferential direction Z.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
