PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for homogenizing the temperature in an autoclave.SOLUTION: A plurality of baffles 612 with V-shaped wedges are positioned in a ceiling 606 of an autoclave 600. The baffles 612 split an airflow from a door 602 or 604 of the autoclave 600 into counter-rotating flow patterns flowing toward a number of workpieces 614 positioned under the baffles 612, promoting heat transfer from the air to the workpieces 614.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
