PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat core material for a vehicle, in which, a joint strength with a polyurethane foam is excellent and deformation such as warping caused by a polyurethane foam laminate is suppressed, in a case where a polyurethane foam is foamed in a mold and laminated for integration with a core material made from foam particle molding.SOLUTION: A seat core material for a vehicle of the present invention is such a seat core material for a vehicle as made from thermoplastic resin foam particle molding. The thermoplastic resin foam particle molding includes a base part in which thermoplastic resin foam particles having no through hole are fused to each other, with no substantial void, and a communication part which is formed on an upper side of the base part, and in which foam particles having a through hole are fused to each other, containing a void that communicates with the outside. At least a part of the communication part is exposed at a surface of the foam particle molding, and the base part and the communication part are bonded and integrated.SELECTED DRAWING: None

    【課題】 本発明は、型内でポリウレタンフォームを発泡させて、発泡粒子成形体からなる芯材に積層一体化させるにあたり、ポリウレタンフォームとの接合強度に優れ、かつポリウレタンフォーム積層による反りなどの変形が抑制された、車両用シート芯材を提供することを課題としている。【解決手段】 本発明の車両用シート芯材は熱可塑性樹脂発泡粒子成形体からなる車両用シート芯材であり、熱可塑性樹脂発泡粒子成形体が、貫通孔を有しない熱可塑性樹脂発泡粒子が相互に融着してなると共に実質的に空隙を有しない基部と、該基部の上方側に形成された、貫通孔を有する発泡粒子が相互に融着してなると共に外部と連通する空隙を有する連通部とからなり、該連通部の少なくとも一部が発泡粒子成形体の表面に露出しており、かつ基部と連通部が固着一体化している。【選択図】 なし
