PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traffic terminal device and a computer program that can transmit information at the same level of data granularity as on-and-off information that cannot be transmitted by U-type transmission or UD-type transmission.SOLUTION: A traffic terminal device comprises: a pulse period determination unit that determines an on-pulse period, i.e. a period of on pulses when on information continues and an off-pulse period, i.e. a period of off pulses when off information continues; a pulse length calculation unit that calculates on-pulse length, i.e. the length of the period of on pulses, and off-pulse length, i.e. the length of the period of off pulses; a generation unit that generates a vehicle detection information including at least one of a time point based on a time point when the on-pulse period is determined and a time point based on a time point when the off-pulse period is determined during a first prescribed time, and at least one of the on-pulse length related to the on-pulse period and the off-pulse length related to the off-pulse period determined during the first prescribed time; and a transmission unit that transmits the generated vehicle detection information to a central device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】U形伝送又はUD形伝送では送信することができなかったオン・オフ情報とデータ粒度が同等の情報を送信することができる交通端末装置及びコンピュータプログラムを提供する。【解決手段】交通端末装置は、オン情報が連続するオンパルスの期間であるオンパルス期間及びオフ情報が連続するオフパルスの期間であるオフパルス期間を確定するパルス期間確定部と、オンパルス期間の長さであるオンパルス長及びオフパルス期間の長さであるオフパルス長を算出するパルス長算出部と、第1所定時間の間にオンパルス期間を確定した時点に基づく時点とオフパルス期間を確定した時点に基づく時点との少なくとも一方、第1所定時間の間に確定したオンパルス期間に係るオンパルス長とオフパルス期間に係るオフパルス長との少なくとも一方を含む車両感知情報を生成する生成部と、生成した車両感知情報を中央装置宛に送信する送信部とを備える。【選択図】図1
