PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grab bucket that inhibits ropes from being caught between a structure constituting the grab bucket and a sheave arranged for the structure to interrupt conveyance work, and can improve conveyance efficiency, and an unloader equipped with the grab bucket.SOLUTION: A grab bucket comprises: a pair of opening/closing parts which house and convey an object to be conveyed; a support part 3 which openably/closably and pivotally supports the pair of opening/closing parts; and a disc-shaped sheaves 5 which are rotatably installed to the support part 3, around which ropes 6 are wound, and which includes a groove part 11 formed on a circumferential surface of the sheave 5 and allowing the rope 6 to be fitted thereinto and guided along a circumferential direction, and at least a part of the sheave 5 is in an exposed state.
