PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric propulsion ship capable of determining whether or not appropriate navigation can be kept in the event of a failure in an electric power system.SOLUTION: An electric propulsion ship includes: an electric propulsion device (7); one or a plurality of load devices (6-1 to 6-m), which are loads other than the electric propulsion device (7); an electric system (130) for supplying power to the electric propulsion device (7) and the load devices (6-1 to 6-m); and a control unit (120) for changing a system configuration of the electric system (130) in the event of an accident in the electric system (130), and estimating a ship speed on the basis of the system configuration after the change.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
