PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a taper roller bearing which secures stable lubrication at the time of rotation start, in particular, a lower temperature start.SOLUTION: A taper roller bearing 1 has an inner ring 20 fixed to a rotary shaft 36, an outer ring 10, and a plurality of taper rollers 3 arranged between raceway surfaces 11, 21 of the inner ring 20 and the outer ring 10. The raceway surface 11 of the outer ring 10 has a diameter which becomes smaller toward one axial side. A groove 43 is formed in a non-raceway surface part at the one axial side of an inner peripheral surface of the outer ring 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
