PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately provide information related to communication quality to be provided together with information related to another vehicle to a driver without bothering him/her.SOLUTION: An information provision device includes communication means (antenna) for performing radio communication with another vehicle that is to enter a self vehicle travel lane from the front and side area of a self vehicle, for example. Information related to the other vehicle obtained via the communication means is provided on a display to the driver of the self vehicle. Communication quality with the other vehicle is estimated by adding the direction of the self vehicle with respect to a self vehicle travel lane where the self vehicle is traveling in addition to a self vehicle speed detected by a vehicle speed sensor and a self vehicle travel environment acquired by a camera and a radar.     【課題】他車両に関する情報と共に提供される通信品質に関する情報提供を、運転者に対して煩わしさを与えることなく精度よく行えるようにする。【解決手段】例えば自車両の前側方から自車両走行レーンに進入する他車両との間で無線通信を行う通信手段(アンテナ)を備えている。通信手段を介して得られた他車両に関する情報が、自車両の運転者に対してディスプレイにおいて提供される。他車両との間での通信品質の推定が、車速センサで検出された自車両の車速およびカメラ、レーダによって取得された自車両の走行環境に加えて、自車両が走行している自車両走行レーンに対する自車両の向きをも加味して行われる。推定された通信品質に関する情報が、ディスプレイにおいて提供される。【選択図】図4
