PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rack bush which reduces slide resistance of a rack shaft.SOLUTION: A cylindrical rack bush 20 is disposed between a cylindrical housing 9 and a rach shaft 8 coaxially inserted into the housing 9 and supports the rack shaft 8 so that the rack shaft 8 may slide in an axial direction W. The rack bush 20 includes an inner periphery 24 provided with an inward protruding part 60 protruding to a radial inner side R1. The inward protruding part 60 includes a top part 61 which slidably contacts with the rack shaft 8 in a linear contact state or a point contact state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
