PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular drive apparatus that suppresses a single-phase lock state of a motor as a power source without compromising endurance.SOLUTION: A vehicular drive apparatus includes: a first transmission path L1 for transmitting driving power output from an engine 1 to a drive wheel 13; and a second transmission path L2 for transmitting driving power output from a motor 3 to the drive wheel 13. Further, the second transmission path L2 includes an intermediate shaft 14 for transmitting the driving power output from the motor 3 to the first transmission path L1; a hydraulic coupling 18 is disposed between the motor 3 and the intermediate shaft 14; and a clutch mechanism 19 is disposed, in parallel to the hydraulic coupling 18, between the motor 3 and the intermediate shaft 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
