PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lateral turning prevention system which prevents lateral turning of a railway vehicle during travelling due to wind pressure.SOLUTION: A lateral turning prevention system comprises: an air flow passage 4 which is provided in a space between a roof part 20 of a vehicle body 2 of a railway vehicle and a ceiling part 30 of a passenger cabin 3 thereof in a longer direction of the vehicle body; an air introduction opening which is communicated with an end part of the flow passage, is opened outside from a tip wall part of the vehicle body, and automatically introduces external air into the flow passage during travelling of the vehicle; and air ejection means 6 which is so provided as to be communicated with the flow passage and has an ejection port 61, which is so provided as to be opened outside from both side wall parts near the roof part of the vehicle body, at a tip thereof. By travelling the vehicle, external air, which is introduced into the air flow passage from the opening, is ejected outside the vehicle body from the ejection port, and by this ejected air, an air curtain 7 for prevention of cross wind is formed over substantially whole area on both side surface part sides of the vehicle body. The air curtain acts as a barrier for cross wind, whereby the vehicle body is protected and lateral turning of the vehicle body due to wind pressure can be prevented.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】鉄道車両が走行中に風圧により横転するのを防止する横転防止システムを提供する。【解決手段】鉄道車両の車体2の屋根部20と客室3の天井部30との間の空間部内に車体の長手方向に設けた空気流通路4と、この流通路の端部に連通させて車体の先端壁部から外部へ開口して設け、車両の走行中に外部空気を前記流通路内に自動的に導入させる空気導入用開口部と、前記流通路に連通させて設け、先端部に車体の屋根部近くの両側壁部から外部へ開口して設けた噴出口部61を有する空気噴出手段6とを備える。車両を走行させることにより、前記開口部から空気流通路内に導入される外部空気を噴出口部から車体外へ噴出させ、この噴出空気により車体の両側面部側の略全域部に横風防壁用のエアーカーテン7を形成するように構成する。エアーカーテンを横風の防壁として作用させて車体を防御し、風圧による車両の横転を防止する。【選択図】図3
