PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rope inspection device capable of inspecting degradation on a wire rope of an elevator at high SN ratio.SOLUTION: A rope inspection device 1100 includes: an oscillation coil (1) and an oscillation coil (2) each of which generates AC magnetic field opposite from each other; a plurality of receiving coils (1) to (16) which disposed in an intermediate area or adjacent thereto being shifted in a circumferential direction of a wire rope as an inspection object: and a switching section that switches the operation of the plural receiving coils (1) to (16).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
