PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a structure which can increase magnetic flux which passes a detection part of a sensor without aligning a phase related to circumferential directions of both first and second covers when assembling both the first and second covers to an inside end of an outer ring in an axial direction.SOLUTION: A first cover 7a is formed by applying press-processing to an austenitic stainless steel sheet being a non-magnetic metal plate. An annular reinforcing part 35 which is press-molded to the austenitic stainless steel sheet at a processing degree of a level at which martensite transformation occurs is arranged at the whole periphery of an intermediate part of a bottom plate part 9a of the first cover 7a in a radial direction. An inside end of the annular reinforcing part 35 in an axial direction is made to approximate and oppose a magnetic-material made nut 41 which is fixed to a magnetic-material made second cover 8a, and an outside end of the annular reinforcing part is made to approximate and oppose an inside end of a magnetic-material made hub 2a in the axial direction. By this constitution, an annular magnetic circuit α which passes a detection part 5a of a sensor 4a is formed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】外輪の軸方向内端部に第一、第二両カバーを組み付ける際に、これら第一、第二両カバー同士の円周方向に関する位相合わせを行わなくても、センサの検出部を通過する磁束を多くする事ができる構造を実現する。【解決手段】第一カバー7aを、非磁性金属板であるオーステナイト系ステンレス鋼板にプレス加工を施して成るものとする。第一カバー7aの底板部9aの径方向中間部の全周に、前記オーステナイト系ステンレス鋼板にマルテンサイト変態が発生するレベルの加工度でプレス成形された環状補強部35を設ける。この環状補強部35の軸方向内端部を、磁性材製の第二カバー8aに固定された磁性材製のナット41に、同じく軸方向外端部を、磁性材製のハブ2aの軸方向内端部に、それぞれ近接対向させる。これにより、センサ4aの検出部5aを通過する、環状の磁気回路αを形成する。【選択図】図2
