PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission device capable of controlling lubricant in a casing according to the state of an interrupting mechanism, and capable of reducing friction in the connection release state of the interrupting mechanism.SOLUTION: A casing 3 includes: a first groove part 21 into which when an interrupting part is in a connection state, lubricant pumped up by rotation to one side of a clutch housing flows; and a second groove 23 into which when the interrupting part is in a connection release state, lubricant pumped up by rotation to the other side of the clutch housing flows. The first groove 21 communicates with an oil passage 25 in which inflow lubricant flows toward an axial core side of an interrupting mechanism, and in the second groove part 23, provided is an oil storage part 27 accumulating inflow lubricant thereinside.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
