PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of uniformizing the grounding shape of a rib and capable of improving the steering stability and uneven wear resistance.SOLUTION: The tread of a pneumatic tire has the first and second circumferential main grooves and a rib provided between those grooves. The ground plane of the rib protrudes outside the reference contour line of the tread in a tire radial direction. The surface of the rib includes the first and second belt areas divided at the center of the rib in a tire width direction as a boundary and extending in a tire circumferential direction, respectively. The groove area ratio of the first belt area is different from that of the second belt area. The maximum protrusion part in which the protrusion amount of the rib ground plane from the reference contour line shows a maximum value is provided to either one of the first and second belt areas having a large groove area ratio.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】リブの接地形状の均一化を図り、操縦安定性能及び耐偏摩耗性能を向上することができる空気入りタイヤを提供する。【解決手段】空気入りタイヤのトレッド部は、第1周方向主溝及び第2周方向主溝と、第1周方向主溝と第2周方向主溝との間に設けられるリブとを有する。リブの接地面は、トレッド部の基準輪郭線よりもタイヤ径方向外側に突出する。リブの表面は、タイヤ幅方向のリブの中心を境界として分けられた、タイヤ周方向にそれぞれ延在する第1ベルト領域と第2ベルト領域とを含む。溝面積比は、第1ベルト領域と第2ベルト領域とで異なる。リブの接地面のうち基準輪郭線からの突出量が最大値を示す最大突出部は、溝面積比が大きい第1ベルト領域及び第2ベルト領域のいずれか一方に設けられる。【選択図】図4
