PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular speed control apparatus capable of improving all of calculation accuracy of a post-correction vehicular speed, and controllability, safety and merchantability of cruise control.SOLUTION: A vehicular speed control apparatus 1 includes an FI-ECU 2 and a meter-ECU 11. The meter-ECU 11 calculates a vehicular speed for meter Vmeter and transmits it to the FI-ECU 2 via a CAN communication network 8. The FI-ECU 2 performs: calculating a vehicular speed for controller Vecu; calculating a vehicular speed for CC Vcc by correcting the vehicular speed for controller Vecu with a vehicular speed correction factor Kv; updating, for storage, a spot correction factor Kv_i so as to reduce a difference between the vehicular speed for CC Vcc and the vehicular speed for meter Vmeter while reflecting a correlation between the vehicular speed for CC Vcc and the vehicular speed for meter Vmeter to the vehicular speed for controller Vecu; calculating a vehicular speed factor Kv using the stored spot correction factor Kv_i; determining a target vehicular speed Vr; and executing cruise control so that the vehicular speed for CC Vcc equals the target vehicular speed Vr.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】補正後車速の算出精度、クルーズ制御の制御性、安全性及び商品性をいずれも向上させることができる車速制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】車速制御装置1は、FI・ECU2及びメータ・ECU11を備える。メータ・ECU11は、メータ用車速Vmeterを算出し、CAN通信ネットワーク8を介して、FI・ECU2に送信する。FI・ECU2は、コントローラ用車速Vecuを算出し、コントローラ用車速Vecuを車速補正係数Kvで補正することによって、CC用車速Vccを算出し、CC用車速Vccとメータ用車速Vmeterとの間の相関性をコントローラ用車速Vecuに対応して反映させながら、CC用車速Vccとメータ用車速Vmeterとの間の偏差を減少させるように、局所補正係数Kv_iを更新して記憶し、記憶した局所補正係数Kv_iを用いて、車速補正係数Kvを算出し、目標車速Vrを決定し、CC用車速Vccが目標車速Vrになるように、クルーズ制御を実行する。【選択図】図2
