PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carriage and a lifting system capable of reducing a load of an operator performing lifting.SOLUTION: A carriage 20 according to the embodiment comprises a carriage body 21 and a descent suppressing mechanism 22. The carriage body 21 comprises a loading part 24 on which a heavy object G is loaded, and a lifting origin 25 for lifting the heavy object. The carriage body 21 can be moved with the lifting origin 25 pulled by the lifter 40 on a planar transportation lane 10 disposed in a stair part ST. The descent suppressing mechanism 22 is disposed on the carriage body 21. The descent suppressing mechanism 22 suppresses the carriage body 21 placed on the transportation lane 10 from moving down.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
