PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-traveling carriage straddling a columnar monorail with a further simplified structure and further reduced weight as well as with an ability to securely prevent a slip.SOLUTION: A self-traveling carriage for monorail comprises: a body 1; driving wheels 12 which are supported by the body 1 and which pressure-contact an outer peripheral surface of a monorail 21; compression coil springs 14 energizing the driving wheels 12 toward the monorail 21; and a motor M1 driving the driving wheel 12. An outer peripheral surface of the driving wheel 12 includes: a concave surface 121 having a curvature substantially the same as that of the outer peripheral surface of the monorail 21; and gear teeth 122 formed on both axial sides of an outer peripheral edge. The gear teeth 122 of adjacent driving wheels 12 are meshed with each other during pressure-contact with the monorail 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】円柱状の単軌条に跨り自走する台車において、構造の簡略化及び軽量化を一層図るとともに、滑りを確実に防止する。【解決手段】筐体1と、筐体1に支持され、単軌条21の外周に圧接する駆動車輪12と、駆動車輪12を単軌条21の方向に付勢する圧縮コイルバネ14と、駆動車輪12を駆動させるモーターM1とを有し、駆動車輪12の外周面は、単軌条21の外周と略同一曲率の凹面121とされ、外周縁の軸方向両端にはギヤ歯122が形成され、隣り合う駆動車輪12のギア歯122は単軌条21との圧接状態で歯合することを特徴とする。【選択図】図1
