PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress that an end part of a branch part side being a portion which is branched from a joining portion becomes a fracture starting point at the joining part.SOLUTION: A roof side rail main body 10 is formed in such a manner that a carbon fiber fabric 38 which is formed by the weaving of a plurality of warps and a plurality of wefts is covered with a plastic material 40. The carbon fiber fabric 38 has a joining part 50, and a pair of first and second branch parts 52, 54 which are branched from the joining part 50. The number of the wefts which are constrained by a pair of the warps at an end part 50A of the joining part 50 at sides of the first and second branch parts 52, 54 is set smaller than the number of the wefts which are constrained by a pair of the warps at a region 50B of the joining part 50 at the sides away from the first and second branch parts 52, 54.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】接合部において当該接合部から分岐する部分である分岐部側の端部が破壊起点となることを抑制する。【解決手段】ルーフサイドレール本体10は、複数のたて糸と複数のよこ糸とが織り上げられることにより形成された炭素繊維織物38がプラスチック材40に覆われることによって形成されている。炭素繊維織物38は、接合部50と該接合部50から分岐する一対の第1分岐部52及び第2分岐部54と有している。また、接合部50における第1分岐部52及び第2分岐部54側の端部50Aにおいて一対のたて糸に拘束されるよこ糸の数が、接合部50における第1分岐部52及び第2分岐部54と離間する側の部位50Bにおいて一対のたて糸に拘束されるよこ糸の数よりも少なく設定されている。【選択図】図1
