PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a haptic feedback device capable of providing vibrational stimulation that is easy for an operator to haptically recognize.SOLUTION: A haptic feedback device 1 includes; a touch pad 2 disposed on a housing 10 and configured to detect manipulation on a manipulation surface 20 thereof; an actuator 3 configured to vibrate the manipulation surface 20 in a direction normal to the manipulation surface 20 and a direction opposite thereto to provide an operator with haptic feedback; and a damping support mechanism 4 comprising a mounting section 40 attached to the housing 10, first dampers 41 disposed below the mounting section 40 and configured to damp vibration in the normal direction, second dampers 42 disposed above the mounting section 40 to face the first dampers 41 and configured to damp vibration in the opposite direction with a damping force different from that of the first dampers 41, and links 43 that support the manipulation surface 20 and are inserted into respective through-holes that penetrate through the mounting section 40, the first dampers 41, and the second dampers 42 such that vibration in the normal direction compresses the first dampers 41 and vibration in the opposite direction compresses the second dampers 42.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
