PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wrong-way traveling vehicle detection system that can determine a traveling direction of a vehicle with one sensor alone, and has tolerance of disturbance factors such as rain and wind, and thereby can detect the vehicle traveling in the opposite direction with high precision without any misdetection under an influence thereof.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a wrong-way traveling vehicle detection system that projects a light wave of laser light on an object road surface to be detected in two dimensions at a predetermined angle in two areas divided in a traveling direction of a vehicle for scanning, determines whether the passing vehicle is traveling forward or backward from the order and/status of reflected light from the vehicle passing through the two areas, and gives notice to the outside, the system consisting of an area measurement sensor 1, a controller part 2 which determines detection order of the two areas A, B by receiving control output from the area measurement sensor 1, and determines whether the vehicle is traveling forward or backward, a transmitter 3 which sends a wrong-way travel signal out to the outside when receiving wrong-way travel output from the control part 2, and a receiver 4 which receives the wrong-way travel signal from the transmitter 3 and makes a display machine 5 gives notice of danger information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】1つのセンサ単独で以て車両の進行方向を判定することができ、雨や風等の外乱要因に強く、その影響を受けて誤検知するおそれがなく、逆走車両を高精度で検知することができる逆走車両検知システムを提供することを課題とする。【解決手段】検知対象路面に対してレーザ光である光波を車両の走行方向に2つにエリア分けして二次元的に所定角度投光してスキャンし、その2つのエリアを通過する車両からの反射光の順番及び/又は状況から、通過車両の順走・逆走を判断して外部報知する逆走車両検知システムであって、該システムは、測域センサ1と、測域センサ1からの制御出力を受けて2つのエリアA、Bの検知順を判断し、また、順走・逆走の判断をするコントローラ部2と、コントローラ部2から逆走出力を受けた場合に逆走信号を外部に送出する送信機3と、送信機3からの逆走信号を受信し、表示機5に危険情報を報知させる受信機4とで構成される。【選択図】図2
