PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection device capable of cancelling the influence of live load on a vehicle and accurately detecting a reduced pressure state of a tire.SOLUTION: There is provided a detection device for detecting a reduced pressure state of a tire attached to a vehicle. The detection device includes: an index value calculation part; a resonance frequency calculation part; and a decompression detection part. The index value calculation part calculates a reduced pressure index value which is a comparison value between the rotation speed of a front wheel and the rotation speed of a rear wheel from wheel speed information of a front wheel tire and a rear wheel tire. The resonance frequency calculation part calculates a resonance frequency of the tire from the wheel speed information of at least one tire. A reduced pressure detection part detects a reduced pressure state while cancelling the influence of live load to the vehicle based on the predetermined parameter showing a linear relation between the resonance frequency and the reduced pressure index value under the reduced pressure condition of the predetermined tire, the reduced pressure index value calculated by the index value calculation part, and the resonance frequency calculated by the resonance frequency calculation part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6

    【課題】車両への積載荷重の影響をキャンセルし、正確にタイヤの減圧状態を検出することが可能な検出装置を提供する。【解決手段】車両に装着されたタイヤの減圧状態を検出する検出装置が提供される。検出装置は、指標値算出部と、共振周波数算出部と、減圧検出部とを備える。指標値算出部は、前輪タイヤ及び後輪タイヤの車輪速情報から、前輪タイヤの回転速度と後輪タイヤの回転速度との比較値である減圧指標値を算出する。共振周波数算出部は、少なくとも1つのタイヤの車輪速情報から、当該タイヤの共振周波数を算出する。減圧検出部は、所定のタイヤの減圧条件下における共振周波数と減圧指標値との線形関係を示す予め定められたパラメータと、指標値算出部により算出された減圧指標値と、共振周波数算出部により算出された共振周波数とに基づいて、車両への積載荷重の影響をキャンセルしながら所定のタイヤの減圧状態を検出する。【選択図】図6
