PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of kinds of engines for power generation installed in a ship.SOLUTION: A ship 10A comprises: a main engine 21 capable of gas operation using a gas fuel; a propulsion machine 22 rotatively driven by the main engine 21; and one or more shaft generators 31 generating electricity with a driving power received from the main engine 21. The main engine 21 performs the gas operation when the main engine 21 is driving at low load so as to allow at least one of the shaft generators 31 to generate electricity using the rotary power of the main engine 21 to supply the electricity generated by at least the one of the shaft generators 31 to an in-ship main bus 32 included in an in-ship power system 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
