PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a structure for joining vehicular members and a method for joining vehicular members which can preferably maintain a joining state between a metal member and a resin member at the time of heating while suppressing thermal strain caused by a linear expansion difference between the metal member and the resin member in a structure where the metal member is joined to the resin member with an adhesive.SOLUTION: The structure for joining vehicular members has: a metal member 102 constituting the vehicular members; a resin member 100 which is joined to the metal member 102; and an adhesive 104 which is arranged between the metal member 102 and the resin member 100 to join both members to each other, and is lower in elasticity modulus than the metal member 102 and the resin member 100, where when a linear expansion difference between the metal member 102 and the resin member 100 at time of heating in a drying process after coating is set as ΔL, a thickness T0 and a length T1 of an end surface satisfy the following relational expression.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6

    【課題】接着剤によって金属部材と樹脂部材とが接合された構造において、金属部材と樹脂部材との線膨張差による熱ひずみを抑制しつつ、加熱時に金属部材と樹脂部材との接合状態を良好に維持することができる車両用部材の接合構造及び車両用部材の接合方法を得る。【解決手段】車両用部材を構成する金属部材102と、金属部材102に接合される樹脂部材100と、金属部材102と樹脂部材100との間に設けられて両者を接合すると共に、金属部材102及び樹脂部材100よりも弾性率が低く、かつ、塗装後の乾燥工程の加熱時における金属部材102と樹脂部材100との線膨張差をΔLとしたときに、厚みT0及び端面の長さT1が以下の関係式を満たす接着剤104と、を有する。【選択図】図6
