PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an artificial satellite to reach a geostationary orbit in a short time, perform orbit control for the artificial satellite with less power after reaching the geostationary orbit and satisfy maximum efficiency both at orbit raising and at orbit control on the geostationary orbit.SOLUTION: The artificial satellite 1 individually includes: a Hall thruster 2 for orbit raising that is used at orbit transition to the geostationary orbit; and a Hall thruster 3 for geostationary orbit that is used after reaching the geostationary orbit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
