PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a revolving type caster which enables improvement of revolving performance without improving strength of a revolving bearing.SOLUTION: A revolving bearing 2 is attached to a bottom surface of an attachment object O. A rotary body 3 is attached to the revolving bearing 2 and a wheel unit 5 is attached to the rotary body 3 to horizontally revolve around a revolution axis R. The wheel unit 5 includes: a support body 6 supported by the rotary body 3; wheels 7 which are rotatably supported by the support body 6 so as to contact with a road surface F at positions away from the revolving bearing 2 in a radial direction of the revolution axis R; and a rolling element 8 which is rotatably supported on the support body 6 so as to be separated from the revolving bearing 2 in the radial direction and located above the wheels 7. When the wheel unit 5 horizontally revolves around the revolution axis R, the rolling element 8 may roll on a rolling surface 15 of the bottom surface of the attachment object O. A load of the attachment object O is supported by the wheels 7 through the rolling element 8.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】旋回軸受けの強度を高くせずに旋回性能を向上させることが可能な旋回式キャスタを提供する。【解決手段】旋回軸受け2が取付対象物Oの底面に取り付けられる。回転体3が旋回軸受け2に取り付けられ、車輪ユニット5が回転体3に取り付けられて旋回軸Rの周りに水平旋回可能である。車輪ユニット5は、回転体3に支持された支持体6と、旋回軸受け2から旋回軸Rの径方向に離れた位置で路面Fに接するように支持体6に回転可能に支持された車輪7と、旋回軸受け2から径方向に離れかつ車輪7の上方に位置するように支持体6に回転可能に支持された転動体8とを備える。車輪ユニット5が旋回軸Rの周りに水平旋回するときに、転動体8は取付対象物Oの底面の転動面15を転動可能である。取付対象物Oからの荷重は、転動体8を介して車輪7で支持されるようになっている。【選択図】図1
