PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the calculation accuracy of salt concentration distribution, in a secondary battery system for calculating the distribution of salt concentration based on the flow rate of electrolyte in the electrode body.SOLUTION: A cell 110 includes an electrode body 120 and an electrolyte, each housed in a battery case 111. An ECU300 calculates the flow rate uof electrolyte in the electrode body 120, calculates the salt concentration distribution in the electrolyte based on the flow rate uthus calculated, and then estimates the increment ΔR in the internal resistance R of the cell 110, based on the salt concentration distribution thus calculated. The ECU300 calculates the flow rate uby using the variation Δy in the thickness of the electrode body 120 in a direction substantially perpendicular to the flow direction (y direction) as a parameter, and calculates the variation Δy in the thickness based on an external force applied to the battery case 111 from the outside thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
