PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a load applied to a battery at the time of restart of an engine in association with idle stop control while constituting an electric parking brake device so as to be able to operate in response to input from a driver.SOLUTION: An engine start control system for a vehicle includes: a starter 30 connected to a battery 80; an idle stop control section 12 automatically stopping an engine and automatically restarting the engine by the starter; input means generating an operation request in response to input from a driver; an electric parking brake device 40 including an electric motor 42 connected to the battery, the electric motor driven in response to the operation request; and an arbitration section 16 prohibiting a restart of the engine by the idle stop control section when the electric motor is in a driving state in response to the predetermined operation request.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】電動パーキングブレーキ装置を運転者からの入力に応じて作動可能な構成としつつ、アイドルストップ制御に伴うエンジンの再始動時のバッテリへの負荷を低減する。【解決手段】車両用エンジン始動制御システムは、バッテリ80に接続されるスタータ30と、エンジンを自動的に停止し、前記スタータによりエンジンを自動的に再始動させるアイドルストップ制御部12と、運転者からの入力に応答して作動要求を生成する入力手段と、前記バッテリに接続される電気モータ42を含み、前記作動要求に応答して前記電気モータが駆動する電動パーキングブレーキ装置40と、所定の作動要求に応答して前記電気モータが駆動状態である場合に、前記アイドルストップ制御部によるエンジンの再始動を禁止する調停部16とを含む。【選択図】図1
