PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting control technique for automatically lighting a head light more surely, according to an actual weather.SOLUTION: A lighting control part 50 for automatically lighting a vehicle head light 70 when brightness in an environment of a vehicle is lower than that in a predetermined condition, comprises: a light sensor 60 for detecting brightness in the environment; an own vehicle position matching processing part 11 for specifying an own vehicle position; a traffic information processing part 12 for acquiring weather information corresponding to the own vehicle position; a target distance calculation part 14 for, specifying a bad weather position based on the weather information, determining a distance between the bad weather position and the own vehicle position, and setting a reference value used for determining whether or not, the vehicle head light 70 should be lit, so that the reference value becomes higher as the distance between the bad weather position and own vehicle position is smaller; and a lighting processing part 53 for lighting the vehicle head light 70 when the brightness in the environment detected by the light sensor 60 is smaller than the reference value set by the target distance calculation part 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
