PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive unit that is fixed to an object to be mounted and that can be reduced in size.SOLUTION: A drive unit 1 comprises: a motor housing 20 fixed to a gear housing 80; and a motor part 30 having a stator 31 housed in the motor housing 20, a rotor 33 provided inside the stator 31 so as to be rotatable, and a shaft 34 rotated integrally with the rotor 33. The motor housing 20 has a fitting part 25 in which a thread 251 with the same axis as the rotation axis R of the shaft 34 is formed. The fitting part 25 of the motor housing 20 screws and fits in a fitted part 85 of the gear housing 80. This eliminates the need for a fixing member, such as a screw bolt as in a conventional technology, and also eliminates the need for a flange part on the motor housing 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】取付対象物に固定される小型化可能な駆動装置を提供する。【解決手段】駆動装置1は、ギアハウジング80に固定されるモータハウジング20と、モータハウジング20の内側に収容されたステータ31、ステータ31の内側に回転可能に設けられたロータ33、及び、ロータ33と一体に回転するシャフト34を有するモータ部30とを備える。モータハウジング20は、シャフト34の回転軸Rと同軸のねじ251が形成された嵌合部25を有する。モータハウジング20の嵌合部25は、ギアハウジング80の被嵌合部85にねじ嵌合する。このため、従来技術のようなスクリューボルト等の固定部材を必要とせず、モータハウジング20にフランジ部を設けずともよい。【選択図】図1
