PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle peripheral information detection structure which effectively inhibits the light receiving volume from being reduced by dirt on a detection part of an optical system and enables improvement of the detection accuracy of peripheral information.SOLUTION: A vehicle peripheral information detection structure 10 includes: a peripheral information detection device 30 provided with a detection part 30S of an optical system which is located within a front lamp unit 20, the peripheral information detection device 30 configured to detect peripheral information of a vehicle exterior part, which penetrates through a lens 24, with the detection part 30S; and a front lamp cleaner 32 which removes dirt on a vehicle outer surface of the lens 24 in a region where the peripheral information is detected.
