PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve maintainability by simplifying a wiring structure of an electric vehicle.SOLUTION: A saddle-riding type electric vehicle 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a footrest 28; a seat 26 on which an occupant sits; a steering handle 12; an electric motor 20 for driving a rear wheel 16; a battery 30 for outputting electric power supplied to the electric motor 20 and electrical components 53, 54, 55, 56; a DC/DC converter 44 located on a circuit between the battery 30 and the electrical components 53, 54, 55, 56 for stepping down an output voltage of the battery 30 and outputting the stepped-down voltage; a high voltage harness 32 located on the circuit between the battery 30 and the DC/DC converter 44; and a low voltage harness 52 which is located on the circuit between the DC/DC converter 44 and the electrical components 53, 54, 55, 56, and to which a current having a voltage lower than the high voltage harness 32 flows. The high voltage harness 32 is located behind a front end 28a of the footrest 28 and in front of a rear end 26b of the seat 26.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
