PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetostrictive torque sensor and an electrically driven power steering device with which it is possible to suppress a reduction in the accuracy of detecting a torque applied to a shaft.SOLUTION: A magnetostrictive torque sensor 10 constituting an electrically driven power steering device 12A is configured such that the temperature characteristic change of the first impedance of a first magnetic path including a first detection coil 76 and the temperature characteristic change of the third impedance of a third magnetic path including a third detection coil 80 are mutually different, and the temperature characteristic change of the second impedance of a second magnetic path including a second detection coil 78 and the temperature characteristic change of the fourth impedance of a fourth magnetic path including a fourth detection coil 82 are different from each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
