PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holding and lifting device which can improve safety in lifting and lift an object to be lifted smoothly and reliably.SOLUTION: A holding mechanism 30 comprises a body block 1 including: a coupling pin 3 for pivoting a pair of holding arms 2 rotatably; a drive mechanism for moving the coupling pin vertically; a pair of guide pins 4 that are protruded from upper ends of the holding arms and move obliquely and vertically according to the vertical movement of the coupling pin; a pair of load receiving bases 5 having guide grooves 50 for guiding the guide pins; a pair of support legs for supporting the drive mechanism; and a plurality of positioning guides for positioning the coupling pin on a center line in a lengthwise direction of an object to be lifted. The guide groove comprises an oblique groove part 50a for guiding the guide pin in an oblique direction to open and close the holding arm, and a vertical groove part 50b which is formed continuously to the oblique groove part and, while the holding arm is open, guides the guide pin upward to cause a lower end 2b of the holding arm to retreat upward of a lower end 1a of the body block.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】吊り上げ時の安全性の向上を図るとともに、スムーズかつ確実に被揚重物を吊り上げることが可能な挟持吊り上げ装置を提供する。【解決手段】挟持機構30は、一対の挟持腕2を回動自在に軸支する結合ピン3と、結合ピンを上下移動させる駆動機構と、挟持腕の上端に突設され結合ピンの上下移動に応じて斜行及び上下移動する一対のガイドピン4と、ガイドピンを案内する案内溝50を有する一対の荷重受け台5と、駆動機構を支持する一対の支持脚と、被揚重物の長さ方向の中心線上に結合ピンを位置決めさせる複数の位置決めガイドとよりなる本体ブロック1を備え、案内溝は、ガイドピンを斜行方向へ案内して挟持腕を開閉させる斜行溝部50aと、斜行溝部に連なって形成され、挟持腕が開いた状態でガイドピンを上方向に案内して該挟持腕の下端2bを本体ブロックの下端1aよりも上方へ退避させる鉛直溝部50bを有して形成する。【選択図】図2
