PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering angle sensor which can improve accuracy in detecting a steering angle by suppressing slippage between a transmission member and a first gear.SOLUTION: A steering angle sensor includes: a first gear 25 connected to a steering shaft 6 at the inner peripheral side of which a columnar through hole 35 is formed and which is inserted into the inner part of the through hole, via an annular transmission member 36 so as to be integrally rotatable; a second gear 26 rotating while being engaged with the first gear; and a third gear 27 rotating while being engaged with the second gear. A projection part 43 suppressing deviation of relative rotation phase between the first gear and the transmission member by biting into the outer peripheral surface of the transmission member, is provided on the inner peripheral surface of the through hole, in a steering angle sensor 22 calculating, after detecting respective rotation angles of the second and third gears different in the number of teeth using the first and second rotation angle sensors 41, 42, a steering absolute angle on the basis of both of the rotation angles.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】伝達部材と第1歯車との間のすべりを抑制することにより、操舵角の検出精度を向上し得る操舵角センサを提供する。【解決手段】内周側に円柱状の貫通孔35が形成され、貫通孔の内部に挿通された操舵軸6に円環状の伝達部材36を介して一体回転可能に連結された第1歯車25と、第1歯車と噛合して回転する第2歯車26と、第2歯車と噛合して回転する第3歯車27と、を備え、歯数の異なる第2,第3歯車の回転角を第1,第2回転角センサ41,42を用いてそれぞれ検出した後に、両回転角に基づき操舵絶対角を算出する操舵角センサ22において、貫通孔の内周面に、伝達部材の外周面に食い込むことで第1歯車と伝達部材との間の相対回転位相のずれを抑制する突起部43を設けた。【選択図】図2
