PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means for decelerating a vehicle when an entry object is detected, by sensors for entry object monitoring, arranged along a predetermined path, for preventing in advance collision of a vehicle traveling the path, and an entry object on the path (debris or intruder) and securing safety, at this time, as a range to be monitored is wider, the number of sensors is increased, and the number of power supply wiring for supplying power to the sensors is also increased, so that sensor power consumption is reduced as possible, for simplifying a power supply facility for the sensors, including use of a small storage battery.SOLUTION: When receiving the fact that a vehicle has arrived at a station, entry object monitoring sensors in a zone between the station which the vehicle has arrived and a station where the vehicle will arrive, are activated. When it is confirmed that there is no entry object in the zone between the stations, the vehicle starts to travel from the station, and when the entry object is found in the zone between the stations, the vehicle waits at the station.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】予め定めた経路を走行する車両と、経路上への侵入物(落石や侵入者など)との衝突を未然に防いで安全を確保するために、経路に沿って侵入物監視用のセンサを敷設し、これによって侵入物を発見したときに、車両を減速させる手段が有効である。このとき、広い範囲を監視しようとするほどセンサの数が増し、センサへ給電するための電源配線も増す。小型蓄電池の利用を含め、センサのための電源設備を簡素化するためには、センサの消費電力をできるだけ低減することが課題である。【解決手段】車両が駅に到着したことを受けて、これから進入しようとする駅間の侵入物監視センサを活性化する。当該駅間に侵入物が無いことを確認できたときに駅を発進させ、当該駅間に侵入物を発見したときは駅に待機させる。【選択図】図1
