PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform accurate spline-fitting between the rotary shaft of an electric motor and the input shaft of a reduction gear side in an electric power unit, and to shorten time necessary for automatic assembling of both.SOLUTION: An assembling method buts the joined surface 8a of a motor 2 on a table 12 and the joined surface 10a of a reduction gear 3 on the other table 13 to each other, and then carries out spline-fitting between the rotary shaft 9 of the motor 2 and the input shaft of the reduction gear 3 when the reduction gear 3 is pressed to be joined to the motor side 2 by a pusher 15a. The rotary shaft 9 is intermittently rotated at a very small angle by energizing/actuating the motor 2 itself. 【課題】電動パワーユニットにおける電動モータの回転軸と減速機側の入力軸とのスプライン嵌合を正確に行うとともに、両者の自動組み付けに要する時間の短縮化を図る。【解決手段】テーブル12上のモータ2の接合面8aと他方のテーブル13上の減速機3の接合面10aとを突き合わせた上で、プッシャー15aにて減速機3をモータ2側に押し付けて両者を接合する際に、モータ2の回転軸9と減速機3の入力軸とをスプライン嵌合させる方法である。モータ2そのものに通電・起動して回転軸9を微少角度で間歇的に回転させる。回転軸9が静止しているタイミングを狙ってプッシャー15aによる押付動作を間歇的に複数回行うものとする。【選択図】図3
